You are required to do a few things in order to complete your club!
1. Attend 5 out of 7 Meetings, (4 out of 6) and participate in at least 1 Fundraising Event for our club. We will expect to see you at all of them , however if you are unable to attend, please notify one of the leaders of your absence! (Your attendance counts towards year end awards, we do have options to make up for missing a meeting.)
2. Attend Achievement Day - THIS IS A MUST! You must compete in Showmanship and Equitation in order to do games, and get your club. (1st year non-riders need only complete their showmanship class) We encourage everyone to try every single class, if you dont try, you dont know if you like it or not!
3. Complete a Project this year project topic has not yet been determined but your project must meet the approval of the club's leaders. Projects may be submitted in a written format. Example: essay style, book report, displayed on a backboard etc. Again, use your imagination!!! It is expected that each project submitted is age appropriate. The projects are marked by all the club leaders and then averaged. A marking reference will be handed out.
4. Submit your 4-H Record Book this binder is a reflection of your 4-H year. It will be organized, presentable and contain:
• Binder cover page and Inside Title Page (use your imagination...create the style you want...but make sure that it includes your name, address, age, club, club name, 4-H year number, and the name of your project horse)
