WHAT DO WE DO!?!
Our club's main goal is to HAVE FUN IN LEARNING!  We want every member to get hands on experience, whether you have your own horse or not.  We want everyone to be able to learn to SAFELY and HAPPILY enjoy their animals, while improving their knowledge!  Our Club is run the old fashioned way! We still work off of a curriculum that we rotate through from year to year. All the basics are covered every year to get our new members on board but we still continue to move through the system! We hold meetings every two weeks with a practice night available on the "off weeks".  You must complete a project book too! We have a practice show as well as your final Achievement Day.  Check out the contacts page and give us a SHOUT to get connected!  Our Club usually starts every year at the end of March or beginning of April.

 A Note from 4H Ontario
"4-H’rs take a “Learn To Do By Doing” mentality. Members, youth aged 9–21, and Volunteer Leaders come together to create a 4-H Club and learn about a selected topic through hands-on activities and mentorship. 4-H activities and Clubs are structured in a manner that develops leadership skills including public speaking, communication, decision making, parliamentary procedure, meeting management and networking while educating Members about the topic at hand. For 4-H Members the Club is a safe environment that fosters personal growth and development.
We practise and encourage team collaboration, peer-to-peer support and independent learning. Leaders guide Members through activities yet still provide them with the freedom to make their own mistakes and assist one another in the learning process.  4-H’s learning approach, the development of life skills and leadership, and a focus on community involvement, makes the 4-H program unique."
